Abacus Project was an interactive mathematics program designed to develop logic and problem-solving skills. The program was made up of an environmental arcade, real life situational puzzles and a powerful teacher administration utility for record keeping and assessment. Puzzle topics include: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fluid measurements, sequencing, ratios, patterns and relationships, data analysis and more. The adaptive mode adjusted the puzzle difficulty based on the students' time to solve a puzzle. An avatar guided students by providing hints to solving the puzzles if students had problems. The program also included an engaging flashcard module! |
